The role of zircon mill in the production of fused zirconia


Fused stabilized zirconia is a new type of refractory material, which has a broad market in the refractory material industry, and its market potential is great. Domestic Yingge Porcelain, Zhongheng Zirconium Industry, Sanxiang Zirconium Industry, Kelida, etc. all have capacitor zirconia production lines. The main raw materials of fused zirconium are zircon and petroleum coke, and its production process is: batching→smelting→ball blowing, casting→cooling, screening→milling→grading→finished product. The zircon raw material for industrial use is in the shape of sand grains, also called zircon sand. The particle size of zircon sand is about 0.1-0.2 mm, so it cannot be directly applied and must be crushed before use. Therefore, the role of the zircon mill in the production of fused zirconia is mainly reflected in the two sections of batching and zirconia grinding.

The traditional zircon mill will produce a large amount of dust during the crushing process of zirconia, and the vibration is relatively large, resulting in dust and noise pollution. The dust removal workshop and soundproof room will increase the investment cost.
