1. Due to the working characteristics of the pulverizer, long-term crushing and grinding of large pieces of ore, frequent mechanical shocks will cause fatigue damage to the main shaft.

2. Too much feeding causes the mill to run overloaded.

3. During the mining and transportation of ore, some waste metal objects are often mixed. When these objects pass through the electromagnet set on the upper end of the tape, the electromagnet cannot be excluded due to the weak adsorption capacity of the electromagnet and the metal characteristics of the manganese-containing steel material, causing these materials to be mixed in the ore and mud into the mill, resulting in frequent iron passing, thereby causing frequent impact on the main shaft and other components. Fatigue damage to the main shaft is the main reason for the fracture of the main shaft.

Should we prevent such vicious accidents from happening in the future?

1. During the maintenance work, the on-site maintenance personnel should recycle the replaced waste parts and put them in the designated location. It is strictly forbidden to randomly discard various metal wastes into the ore.

2. When the maintenance personnel in the mineral processing workshop are not ready for maintenance, they should strictly abide by the operating procedures to avoid leaving maintenance tools and sundries in the equipment.

3. Through purchasing and relying on its own technical strength, new or transform existing metal detectors to improve the ability of metal detectors to detect and eliminate metals.

4. The operator who guards the feeding tape of the crusher should strengthen the sense of responsibility, increase the inspection vision of the material, and pick out foreign objects in time.

5. The operator of the grinding hand equipment shall make timely inspections for the unpreparedness, and shall promptly handle and report any abnormal situations such as current and sound to prevent the accident from expanding.

6. Regularly use ultrasonic and other instruments to inspect the main shaft and other stressed components to understand the actual condition of the current equipment.

7. Strengthen the training of operators in each section, strive to improve the practical operation level of operators, strengthen equipment maintenance, and timely perform major and medium repairs of equipment to ensure that the equipment is in good technical condition.

8. For the main shaft, body and other key equipment components that can affect the production of the entire system, do a good job in the procurement of spare parts in stock, so as to avoid the shutdown of the entire system after special circumstances.
