Basic process of basalt production line

Basalt processing is usually divided into three stages: coarse crushing, medium fine crushing, and sand making and shaping.

The first stage: coarse crushing

Large pieces of basalt material are evenly fed by the vibrating feeder through the silo, and are conveyed to the jaw crusher for coarse crushing. The coarsely crushed material is screened by a vibrating screen and then conveyed by a belt conveyor to a cone crusher for medium and fine crushing .

Second stage: medium fine crushing

The crushed basalt delivered to the cone crusher is finely crushed and then sieved with a circular vibrating screen. Materials larger than or equal to 40 mm are returned to the cone crusher to be broken again.

The third stage: sand making and shaping

Basalt particles smaller than 40mm are sent to an vertical shaft impact crusher (sand making machine) for further crushing and shaping, and materials larger than or equal to 20mm are returned to the sand making machine to be crushed again. Materials smaller than 20mm are sent to a circular vibrating screen for screening and packaging. If clean basalt is required, it can be sent to a sand washer for cleaning.
